Governing Board of ICSI RVO


The composition of the Governing Board is in line with Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Rules, 2017. The Governing Board of ICSI RVO comprises of five directors consisting of two Nominee Directors and three Independent Directors (IDs). The Independent Directors are from diversified fields of finance, law, education, corporate sector, management and valuation.

 

Mr. Anil Khaitan,
(Chairperson)

Mr. Anil Khaitan aged around 62 years, is an MBA from IMI, Geneva in the year 1981 and has more than forty one years of diversified business experience relating to Jute Industry, Paper Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Copper & Steel Industry etc.

He is President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is Chairman and Managing Director on the Board of Sunil Healthcare Limited, Director on the Board of Nada Vibronics Private Limited.

 
 
 

CS Dhananjay Shukla,
(President, the ICSI and Nominee Director)

CS Dhananjay Shukla a Commerce and Law graduate, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is a Practising Company Secretary based at Gurgaon and has been practising in the areas of Corporate Law, Securities Law and Taxation.

CS Dhananjay Shukla has been serving the profession in different capacities for last many years. He was elected to the Northern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India for the term 2011-14 and then re-elected again for the term 2015-18. He served in various capacities during his tenure at the NIRC and served as the Chairman for the Northern Region in the year 2017.

He has been a member of the Secretarial Standards Board (SSB) of the ICSI for the year 2019 & 2020 and presently he is an elected member of the Managing Committee of the CSBF of the ICSI.

In his overall experience of more than 20 years as a Corporate Professional, he worked as Company Secretary in large Corporate Groups before switching to the practice side in the year 2009. He has been instrumental in various Start-Up ventures set up in India by Foreign Promoters

 
 
 
 

CS Pawan Ghanshyamdas Chandak,
Vice President, the ICSI and Nominee Director

CS Pawan Ghanshyamdas Chandak is a qualified Company Secretary with specialization in Labour Laws and Labour welfare. He is the founder partner of M/s KPRC & Associates with footprints all over India with varied experience in the fields of Corporate Laws, Foreign Exchange laws, Industrial laws, Legal Metrology, Secretarial Audits, Arbitration matters, SEZ, STPI, EOUs and DOT.

He has worked with large corporate houses and MNCs in the capacity of Independent Director and Advisor and has a deep understanding of the challenges and issues surrounding his areas of expertise which includes handling and advising on corporate legal matters, deal structuring and merger-amalgamations.

Before being elected to the Central Council of ICSI for the term 2023-2026, CS Pawan G Chandak was elected to the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICSI for the term 2019-2022 and served as Secretary of the Region in 2019, Vice-Chairman in 2020 and Chairman of WIRC ICSI in the year 2021. Prior to that he served as the Chairman of the Pune Chapter of WIRC of ICSI in 2012 and 2017.

He is a hands-on-leader with a proven track record of over 20 years in guiding organizations in corporate and allied laws, managing risks, rolling-out new systems and improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

 
 
 

Mr.Ashok Kumar Pavadia,
(Independent Director)

Mr.Ashok Kumar Pavadia is a former (retd.) Additional Secretary to the Government of India. An alumnus of the University of London (LSE) and the University of Delhi, he majored in Political Science, Law, Public Policy and Management with two Bachelor degrees, two Master degrees and a Post-Graduate Diploma. He started his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi. He later joined the Indian bureaucracy and in his career spanning over three decades served in senior administrative positions in over half a dozen Ministries in the Government of India. A leading expert in Public Policy, Corporate Governance, CSR and Sustainable Development, he is the author of the Department of Public Enterprises Guidelines on “CSR and Sustainability” for Public Sector enterprises. He has served on the Governmental Advisory Board of the Global Reporting Initiative (Amsterdam). He has also been on the Governing Council of the Institute of Public Enterprise (Hyderabad).

He is frequently invited by foreign Governments, UN agencies, reputed Universities, leading corporations, NGOs, private organizations and trade and industry associations to benefit from his expertise in CSR and Sustainable Development. He has addressed more than a hundred conferences/ seminars in India and abroad


 
 

Smt. Pravin Tripathi,
(Independent Director)

Smt. Pravin Tripathi is B.A. (Hons.) and Master in English literature from Punjab University. She is also a former Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer of 1973 batch with more than 4 decades of experience in the field of Audit & Accounts.

She held various senior positions including that of Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General of India and Chairperson Audit Board, Member of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, Member of Airport Economic Regulatory Authority Appellate Tribunal and Chief Auditor, Municipal Corporation of Delhi amongst others.


 
 

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra,
(Independent Director)

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra is a Professor of Practice at Jamia Hamdard University and a Distinguished Fellow at IICA (Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs), Delhi. Dr. Mishra retired in 2023 from the role of Technical Member of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi on elevation from Technical Member, NCLT, Bangalore. Dr. Mishra is the Government of India Nominee to the Central Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Dr. Mishra, a Chartered Accountant by qualification with a Doctorate in Law, has authored several books and published articles in journals on Insolvency and Contract Management. He felicitated the resolution of major litigation and leading financial transformation with expertise that traverses finance, corporate law and judicial realms for over 40 years. He has Corporate experience as Director Finance (CFO) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (Indian state-owned Aerospace and Defence company). He is the Member of various International and Inter-governmental Committees for large defence contracts involving in-person negotiations across governmental and private entities in USA, UK, France, Japan, Russia and Malaysia.


 
 
 

CS Saurabh Jain,

CS Saurabh Jain CS Saurabh Jain is a postgraduate in Commerce; Law and Business Management and has several Diplomas in Business, Finance and Administration, He brings a comprehensive understanding of both legal and business principles to his teaching and training endeavours. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India serving as Director in the Institute in Dte. of Boards, PMQ and Certificate Courses; Placement Cell; E-Academics; ESB and ICSI International ADR Centre. His early career saw him serve the corporate world for five years before transitioning to the realm of education. .
