FORMAT OF EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY IBBI


  1. The examination is conducted online (computer-based in a proctored environment) with objective multiple-choice questions
  2. The duration of the examination is 2 hours
  3. A candidate is required to answer all questions
  4. Wrong answer attracts a negative mark of 25% of the marks assigned for the question
  5. A candidate needs to secure 60% of marks for passing
  6. A successful candidate is awarded a certificate by the Authority
  7. A candidate is issued a temporary mark sheet on submission of answer paper
  8. No workbook or study material is allowed or provided
  9. A candidate may use a non-memory based calculator.
  10. No mobile phone is allowed.
The prescribed fee for Valuation Examinations w.e.f. 1st October 2022 is Rs. 5000 + applicable GST i.e., Rs. 5900 (Rupees Five Thousand and Nine Hundred only) for every enrolment. It has to be paid during enrolment and can be paid using Debit Card / Net Banking / Credit Card.
Please note that w.e.f. 7th September 2022 a cooling off period of 2 months between two consecutive attempts is applicable in accordance with the IBBI Circular No. EXAM-13016/2022-IBBI dated 6th June 2022. (Available on IBBI website at https://ibbi.gov.in/legal-framework/circulars)..
NOTE: An applicant after qualifying IBBI examination can apply here Form - 'A'. While applying Form - 'A' applicant should attach declaration in the format as provided in the below link:
